Short getaway

Went off to penang for almost 2 weeks. Acah acah need to clear my mind and breath the new air blah blah blah.. But penang was okay especially when I spent it with my bff afiqah pisah. I think we never really stop talking. Like we literally talk and gossip all the times. Cerita macam takkan pernah habis. Drpd pagi smpai ke esok pagi smpai kak ilah kene warning dia nk tido. Hahaha.. Lols.. But at least i feel a little bit better...  And you guys mesti lah dpt figure it out that this getaway has to do something about a guy. Well, it was always about love that get us a little bit down and moody. But whatever, im not gonna let this post ruins by telling about feeling and love and guy. Ugghh.. Maybe another post. For now just picture of me spending time in penang. Bapak pemalas lah i nk bebel lebih2. Dont get me wrong, I nk prepared tok i nyer convo day okayyyy... stay tuneddd for thattt... hahahaha...

The day i witness a football match.

I still cant believe it that i was there. After all this time of saying it and dream about it a little bit and been there couple of times when i was in JB. And finally, alhamdulilah, i had a chance to be part of it, to watch it, right in front of my eyes. 

Ok ok ok, you guys must be confused or whatsoever. I cakap psl i dpt gi stadium lah, tgk jdt lawan. And not just any stadium. It is larkin ok. Hahahaha... I know u guys tak excited. But i was. Yelah after all this time i ckp i nk tgk jdt lawan kt stadium larkin. Dpt sekali pun jadilah. It is in my bucket list, same goes with attend/ watch gig. And i remember vividly how i beg/telling Joe to please bring me there one day. And he be a total jerk, bagi i mcm2 alasan and siap takut2 kan i lagi. Babeng tol joe ni. Dia ingt i ni apa? Clingy and tak independent keee? Please, im a big girl, i can handle myself. Tapi takpelah. I dh gi dh and it actually takde pape pun. Lagi scary masa tgk fireworks kt KLCC. Serious wa ckp dlu. Siap ada a few guys kacau2 i lagi. Kat JB relax je and ramai abg polis. Senang ckp, orng JB mmg disiplin lah. 

And to be honest, once is not enough. I seriously nk gi lagi but only in stadium larkin lah. But somehow it was one of the list i can cross off from my bucket list somehow. Btw, since dorng confirm2 lah dpt piala sbb tinggal 1 match je lagi and this one dia score so sape je dpt take that trophy. Win or not on yesterday match, they already are a winner. Hat-trick beb! 3 times champion in super league. So ada fireworks. Best gilerrr... Since i love watching fireworks, this one is pretty satisfying. Serious i nk gi lagi. Maybe i should move to JB or work there then beli season pass. Hmm... it looks like a plan to me. 

Dpt peluang gi ni pun sbb first i nmpk kt twitter yg dia mention tiket boleh beli on9 and it only cost rm13. Time tu serious tak kisah ada bumbung ke tak, ada kerusi ke tak. Ni bnde paling senang. Book tiket then on the day of the match can also redeem tiket tu. Kalo tak redeem kira burn mcm tu jelah. This was a tiket of life time. I really really want to go. But then nmpk mcm semua ada hal lah so i pun redha jelah. Maybe it wasnt meant to be. Belum masa nyer lagi. Terkilan gak but what to do kan. Swallow jelah. Pedam jelah. Sob sob sob. But then ari jumaat aritu baru abah bagitau psl dia beli tiket kt cousin dia and dpt tiket tu. Costly sket lah sbb abah ambik yg ada bumbung. But it was satisfied. Like thank you abah n mommy. I have no words to visualize of how i feel when i know about this news. Seriously.

Exploring Nogori

This happens somewhere masa cuti sem aritu, awal bulan 4 aritu, tak silap i lah. I know it took me quite a while to wrote it. Bukan apa, slalu lupa pastu bila ingt, i lengah2kan so last2 lpe. And now since i dh teringt, laptop pun dh bukak, lets wrote about it shall we... 

Everything was like all of sudden. Tak berape betul plan pun. Fiqah ajak chang and then ajak dila and me. Well, masa tu mcm 50/50 gak nk gi ke tak sbb tak silap i macam ada plan something but then since takde kata putus, i pun ikut jelah dorng. Tapi kteorng still cari sapa2 lagi yg nak ikut sbb nk cut bajet kn. The more the merrier and a bit cheaper. But since masa tu nk cuti pertengahan sem kan so ramai yg nk balik or gi lab siapkn fyp or they just had some other plan. So lepas hntr wani kat airport, we start our journey.

# Coffeeholic

Ni semua gara2 dh lapar sebab tak breakfast. So we all choose this place to be our 1st cafe. Tidak mengecewakan. The berry waffle is delicious and big breakfast dia pun sgt lah sedap. Air dia paling i rasa sedap is chocolate peppermint. Peppermint dia tak strong sgt so okaylah. Sbb if rasa peppermint dia terlalu strong, dia akan kacau rasa chocolate tu which should be utama. Yelah tgk nama pun dh tau chocolate yg first.

# Just Koffea

The second cafe, i ske suasana dia and the fact worker dia semua friendly so rasa sgt awesome gitu.The food is not that bad. Since agak kenyang lah gak sbb first cafe so kteorng order something light. Meatballs. Dia sedap cuma ada something yg takde so dia ganti dgn yg lain. I tak ingt apa. Air dia ok but not the green tea. For me lah. Fiqah n dila lebih prefer green tea kt 2nd cafe rather than then 1st one. But i lebih ske yg 1st. Pape pun air yg chang pilih sedap. Chocolate coconut. Rasa dia balance. Both flavor rasa smpai i think kalo gi lagi tmpat ni, definitely going to order this one. Seriously.

# Cafe Lavinda

This one serious puas hati. Kteorng order big meal dia mana dia ada macam2 lah n price dia not bad. Satisfied lah senang ckp. Sbb compare to big foot or Grafa, dorng a bit expensive and just ada meat. This one perghh.. Name it. Dri salmon ke fish n chip ke lamb chop ke grilled chicken ke calamari akan2 sotong goreng tepung. Tapi sangat puas. Sos dia pun tak mengecewakan. Pape pun if you order this, jgn order smoothies or air yg bersusu, gas pun kalo ley jgn sbb nnti bloated and full. Seeloknya order air masak. Sejuk if cuaca panas. Pastu abis je mkn semua tu, please kunyah daun mint yg dorng sertakan. Selain bagi ur breath fresh, korng pun akan rasa a bit better. Trust me.

# The Anne Wardrobe

Dia actually cafe + boutique. Barang2 dia cantik, harga standard.  Choose this place pun sbb ice cream picagari ni. I mmg nk dri bila tah maybe since yg kedai kabin kt ampang, dekat dgn restoran bambu tu tapi slalu habis. Takde rezeki. So alang2 dh kt sini n ada lak, try jelah. Tpi.. a bit dissapointing kot. I mean dia sedap just like indah rupa dari khabar maybe. But whatever it is korng ley choose ur ice cream and the rest dia akan buat. Ke bley choose topping sekali. I tak ingt sbb i dok sibuk tgk barang2 kt situ. Hehe.. I kan cepat rambang mata. Nak lak if barang dia cantik2.

# Blue Lagoon

Nope. Ni bukan cafe. It just a relax time sambil tgk sunset. Sadly masa kteorng gi air tgh pasang so mcm takley nk gi jauh n ambik gmbr cantik2. And the fact agak ramai yg tgh bermandi manda or berkelah. But it was nice. I'll be wanting nk spent time tgk laut n sunset and i got it. So its ok.

# Rumah Terbalik N9

A bit pricey, takde student price. Sedih. Tapi okaylah. We had fun. :) and pekerja dia kt situ sgt friendly ambik gmbr kteorng n beri advice nk buat gaya apa.

Then nk gi cloudnine tpi penuh sbb ada function. Makanan dia mmg nmpk sedap gle. Wlaupun tak rasa dpt bau je n tgk presentation dia, i think dia boleh dikatakan sedap gaklah gak. Tapi tulah. If you guys nk gi, better call bwat reservation dlu. If not, tgk jelah apa yg dorng serve smbil leleh air liur.. Hahaha. Tpi kteorg sempat selfie. Hehehe..

So kteorng move on to next cafe which i actually terlupa lah nama dia. Hahahaha.. Nnti kalo dh tau i update. But makanan dia sedap n sambil tunggu mkanan smpai, ley main board games yg dorng sediakan. N pekerja/owner dia best ahh.. Awesome!

Thats it. Lepastu kteorng gerak ke KL sbb chang nk mkan roti naan cheese sedap kt Rmsy kt ngan festival mall tu. So gmbr lepas ni semua takde kene mengene ngan N9 dah. But we had such an awesome time four of us. Gelak je. Semua gara2 bakal2 novelist (dila n chang) yang nk kluarkn novel ttg fiqah. I just dgr je. Maybe akan bwat drama tahpape kul 7ptg kt tv tu. Dia kn slalu based on novel so why not kannn.... Hahahaha..

I should post these last year bcoz it did happen last year. But i just get caught up with exam and thesis and whatever so i kinda delay smpai sekrng. Hihihi.. I nk post dh aritu tpi entah. Takde feel agaknya. Or the fact that i forget some of it. So untuk elakkan another delay, kene terus post sbb after this got another cafe hunting that i need to review. So here we go.. Oh btw cafe hunting yg ni semua kt JB and i think most people know about it kot. Maybe. But whatever. 

#1 The Pots

Actually dh lama dh berhajat nk gi The Pots ni since nampak kt cite Keluarga Iskandar aritu. But that was masa dia still kt Jalan Dhoby. Didnt know that dorng dh pindah tempat sbb bkk website pun still alamat lama and waze, jgn ckplah. Mmg dia ckk kt Jln Dhoby tu. I tertarik dgn concept dia gne beg lama2, yg vintage tu, the one that i really2 one and i still cari kt Duriana and Carousell. WHatever it is makanan dia mmg sedap and byk and berpatutan. Cuma tulah all is cash, dorng tak accept credit card or debit card or anything with card. Paling i suka kt sini is environment dia and the fact dia ada laman mana kalau ada small event with close friends or close family. Sgt cantik and sgt best. Nk lak dia da lampu yg hang mcm cite Parenthood tu. The one that i will be putting at my dream house nnti. Insyallah. 

#2 Oh Ice Cream

The second one ni located kt shopping mall. It just a small store, desert and sgt2 delicious and murah. Mula2 tu mmg takut mahal. Yelah kalo tgk presentation dia mcm mahal je. But harga dia berpatutan. I terus ambik set pot sbb nmpk menarik and ada waffle. Yg bestnya kita boleh choose any flavour ice cream yg dia ada pastu ley choose sprinkles. Like mcm i nyer bley choose 3 ice cream and 4 sprinkles. Semua tak silap i less than rm30. Kira okalah. 

#3 Lokap Cafe

Mcm nama dia, konsep dia mmg mcm kt lokap sbb tingkap dia yg mcm kt penjara lah senang ckp. Mkanan dia ok. Pastu since dinding dia semua mcm black board so dia ada sediakn chalk for kita tok conteng, doddles or anything. Just let our imagination run wild. Cewah. But for now i think dia takde dh or maybe pindah tempat kot. Sbb the last i pegi dia tutup then cant find their FB anymore or dia stated yg dorng close for awhile or pindah. Tak pasti sbb my mom mmg favorite dia lokap cafe ni. 

#4 Homies by JWC

I mula2 tertarik dgn cotton dessert dia. Mcm yg i tunjuk kn gmbr tu. Tapi mkanan dia mmg tak menghampakan. Sedap cuma maybe a bit expansive lah. But its worthy. Nk lak suasana dia yg peaceful and alunan piano. Just nice if we take a cup of coffee with loved ones or just ourselves.

 

#5 Kilang Bateri

Ni mesti ramai tau. Bohong lah kalau tak tau. Kumpulan Hujan perform kt sini kot aritu. Serious ramai gila orng an dnk cari parking mmg susah like u guys kene parking kt tepi2 jln mcm gi uptown/downtown tu. Dia sgt byk kedai mkn n kedai buku n kedai baju.. ah pokoknya mcm2 lah. I tak gi yg kedai2 container kt situ sbb ramai sgt orng. Maybe next time. I just mkn kt stall2 akan2 food court gitu. Not bad actually. I mkn fish n chip baru rm5 tapi sgt kenyang n sedap. Actually stall dia byk2 yg comel2 n sedap n murah. Like seriously i nk gi lagi. Tak cukup gi semua kedai kt situ.

#6 Ecru Tuckshop

Yg ni paling murah and sedap. Like kau boleh dpt meatball setaraf ikea and cheaper. Every food is sedap2 belaka. Serious talk. Mmg akan pegi lagi. Nk lak dia takdelah jauh dri JPO. Balik lepas shopping2 tu ley singgah sbb kalo nk mkn kt kedai mkn yg kt JPO tu, takpayah. Dhlh bapak mahal mknan kt food court dia pastu ramai, beratur panjang. Pegilah Ecru Tuckshop ye :)

So thats all. Tak byk sbb tak cukup masa sbb wlaupun ber cafe hunting, we still go other places like Desaru and mana2 lah. Hihi.. But it wont stop here sbb kt JB tu byk lagi kedai yg tak try lagi, tak merasa lagi. So it will be more and more cafe hunting kt JB. Insyallah :)
